Meet the artist
Meet Maggie, a California bay area artist with an unique life story.
Born in China, Maggie immigrated to France & became French citizen since 1997. After Maggie worked at French enterprise Alstom Cegelec . She pursued her dream in the fashion industry and eventually worked chez Christian Dior at Rue ave Montagne in Paris. After 10 years in Paris, Maggie moved to Germany and started working as a key account manager at an online marketing company, and part time modeling as a side hobby.
Her love for art was heavily influenced by art in Europe and she enjoys exploring different cultures through her worldwide travels.

In 2020, Maggie created Madge Candle, a business born out of her sensitivity to artificial scents during the pandemic. She decided to create 100% essential oil candles, allowing her customers to enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy in a natural way.

Our purpose is to craft non-synthetic, all-natural essential oil candles with the aim of providing a safe and healthy candle option for individuals with asthma or sensitivity to strong scents. By creating candles free from artificial fragrances and harmful chemicals, we aspire to offer a calming and pleasant candle experience that everyone can enjoy. Additionally, our commitment to using natural ingredients contributes to a cleaner environment, promoting sustainability and reducing the impact of synthetic substances on the Earth. Our mission is to bring light, comfort, and wellness to all, while fostering a healthier lifestyle and a greener planet for future generations.

Maggie's creativity doesn't stop at candles. In 2020, she discovered a passion for ceramics and started experimenting with it. With her newfound love for ceramics, Maggie began creating her own ceramic pieces. Her attention to detail, combined with her artistic flair.
